据路透社2月27日开罗报道，埃及石油部长告诉财经报纸Al-Borsa，埃及目前每天从Idku出口工厂出口8亿立方英尺的液化天然气(LNG)。

埃及表示，1月初每天出口约5.2亿立方英尺LNG，2018年每天出口3亿立方英尺。

这些天然气由马来西亚国家石油公司(Petronas)、荷兰皇家壳牌(Royal Dutch Shell)和埃及两家主要的国有油气公司从Idku出口。

埃及于2018年底实现天然气自给自足，目前正寻求通过LNG和再出口，成为地区能源贸易中心。

Egypt raises LNG exports from Idku to 800mln cbf/d

Egypt is currently exporting 800 million cubic feet of liquefied natural gas (LNG) per day from its Idku export plant, 's the petroleum minister has told financial newspaper Al-Borsa.

Egypt said it exported about 520 million cubic feet per day of LNG in early January and 300 million cubic feet per day in 2018.

The gas is exported from Idku by Malaysia's Petronas, Royal Dutch Shell, and Egypt's two main state oil and gas companies.

Egypt, which became self-sufficient in natural gas in late 2018, is seeking to become a regional hub for energy trading by liquefying gas and re-exporting it.
