Aramco Trading CEO Says Company Has Restored Full Oil Output
State-owned giant Saudi Aramco has restored full oil capacity to the levels seen before the Sept. 14 attacks on its oil facilities, the chief executive of its trading arm Ibrahim al-Buainain said.
The company's capacity was restored on Sept. 25 and output was restored to its "target" level, he told a conference in Fujairah, the United Arab Emirates.
Saudi oil officials and advisers said last week that production from Aramco, as the national oil giant is usually known, has returned to 9.8 million barrels a day--roughly the same level as before the attacks. Some of that oil isn't reaching markets, however. Mr. Al-Buainain said the company is now trading 4.5 million barrels a day of refined crude products and crude oil.
