U.S. LNG exports slip on week
Liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports from the United States have slipped week on week, data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration shows.
According to the data, 11 liquefied natural gas cargoes have been dispatched from the LNG export project during the week ending October 2.
Out of the 11 vessels, seven departed from Cheniere’s Sabine Pass facility, three from its Corpus Christi facility and one cargo from Sempra’s Cameron LNG terminal.
Additionally, three vessels, one each at Sabine Pass, Corpus Christi and Freeport LNG plant have been loading cargoes on Wednesday.
EIA added that Dominion’s Cove Point facility is currently undergoing maintenance and has not been exporting cargoes since September 19.
Natural gas feedstock deliveries to U.S. liquefaction facilities were at 6.3 Bcf/day during the week, up from 6.1 Bcf/d in the previous week and up from 2.9 Bcf/day recorded in the corresponding week last year.
