埃尼在墨西哥近海探明3亿桶油储量

据能源之声2月17日消息，意大利石油公司埃尼集团宣布，在墨西哥今后近海发现了一个新的油田，储量高达3亿桶。

这一发现来自于Saasken-1井，该井距该国东海岸约40英里，位于Sureste盆地，由Valaris 8505半潜式钻井平台钻得。

埃尼表示，Saasken-1油田在340米至3830米总水深范围水域钻探后，发现了“80米高质量石油净储层”。

初步数据显示，该井的产能为每日1万桶。

埃尼集团持有65%的股份，与其合作的卢克石油公司持有20%的股份。

苏格兰石油勘探商凯恩能源通过其全资子公司Capricorn Energy墨西哥公司持有剩余的15%。

埃尼集团表示，该地区附近还有几家勘探公司，可能会“聚集在一个协同开发项目中”。

这三家公司现在将对这一发现进行评估，并“利用附近的协同效应”开展商业开发研究。

Eni makes oil discovery off Mexico of up to 300million barrels

Italian operator Eni has announced a new oil discovery off Mexico with up to 300million barrels in place.

The discovery came from the Saasken-1 well, around 40miles off the country’s east coast in the Sureste Basin, drilled by the Valaris 8505 semisubmersible rig.

Eni said Saasken-1 discovered “80metres of net pay of good quality oil” after being drilled in a water depth of 340metres to a total of 3,830 metres deep.

Initial data indicates that the well has production capacity of 10,000 barrels per day.

Eni is the operator with a 65% stake, partnered with Lukoil with 20%.

Scottish oil explorer Cairn Energy holds the remaining 15% through its wholly-owned subsidiary Capricorn Energy Mexico.

Eni said there are several other prospects located nearby in the area, Block 10, which may be “clustered in a synergic development”.

The trio will now work to appraise the discovery and “exploit nearby synergies” to start studies for a commercial development.
