Repsol to Acquire Large Wind Portfolio From Forestalia
Repsol is set to purchase wind-farm assets from Forestalia with a capacity of 850 megawatts for a total investment of almost EUR900 million, Spanish publication El Confidencial reports, citing unnamed sources.
The operation would be the largest wind-development transaction ever recorded in Spain, according to El Confidencial.
The deal is in line with Repsol's strategy to increase investments in renewables and become a zero net emission firm in 2050, El Confidencial says.
