BP与亚马逊旗下AWS签署可再生能源供应协议

据道琼斯12月5日消息，英国石油公司(BP)周三表示，公司已经与亚马逊公司旗下的Amazon Web Services (AWS)业务部门签署协议，由BP为AWS在西班牙和瑞典的设施提供可再生能源。

BP称，将从2021年起为AWS的数据中心提供超过170兆瓦的风能和太阳能。

BP表示，预计未来将把供给AWS设施的能源量提高到400兆瓦以上。

按照协议安排，BP在首个项目中将通过其在欧洲的最大型海上风电场的其中一座提供能源，风电场当前正在瑞典海岸开工建设。其他用来为该项目供给能源的设施也在建设之中，包括在西班牙的一座新太阳能发电场。

Amazon Web Services in Sustainable Energy Deal With BP

BP PLC (BP) on Wednesday said it signed a deal with Amazon Web Services which will see the energy company supply facilities in Spain and Sweden with renewable power.

BP said it will supply more than 170 megawatts of wind and solar power to Amazon Web Services data centers, starting in 2021.

BP said it expects to increase the amount of energy supplied to Amazon's facilities to over 400MW.

The first project under the agreement will see BP provide energy from one of the largest offshore windfarms in Europe, currently under construction off the coast of Sweden. Other facilities being built to support the project include a new solar farm in Spain.
