埃克森第14个石油发现将使圭亚那获利丰厚

据今日石油网2019年11月22日奥斯陆报道，挪威能源数据分析公司雷斯塔能源公司（Rystad Energy）拉丁美洲和加勒比地区副总裁施莱纳·帕克日前在出席在圭亚那举行的2019年圭亚那国际石油展览会暨峰会（GIPEX）期间对采访他的媒体记者披露，美国石油巨头埃克森美孚公司不久前在圭亚那海上获得的第14个石油发现将把这个南美国家的总估计收入推高到1200多亿美元。

雷斯塔能源公司的官员曾在8月份告诉今日石油网记者，当时在圭亚那海上发现的13个油田的总收益预计将达到1175亿美元。

埃克森美孚公司在9月份宣布，该公司在圭亚那斯塔布鲁克区块发现了第14个油田，这将进一步推高圭亚那政府的总估计收入。

帕克：“圭亚那政府收入将会上升。当然，这取决于油价。但是，即使布伦特原油期货价格处于每桶65美元的中间价位，我们预计圭亚那的政府届时单单从斯塔布鲁克区块将能获得1200亿美元以上的收入。”

帕克说，随着更多油田的发现，斯塔布鲁克区块的收入将会继续增加。

ExxonMobil 14th discovery at Stabroek pushes projected government revenue above US$120 billion – Rystad Energy

The 14th oil discovery made by US oil major ExxonMobil off the Guyana coast pushes the total estimated revenue to be earned by the South American country to more than US$120 billion.

The Rystad Energy official had told OilNOW in August that the total revenue from what was 13 discoveries at the time, would amount to a projected US$117.5 billion for Guyana.

ExxonMobil announced in September that it had made its 14th discovery on the Stabroek Block which further pushes up the estimated revenue for the country.

“Revenue will go up. Of course, it’s depending on oil price. But even in a mid-price scenario of US$65 per barrel Brent going forward, we’re looking at north of one hundred and twenty something billion dollars that we anticipate the Government of Guyana will receive, just from the Stabroek Block itself,” he stated.

Parker said the revenue projection for the block will continue to increase as more discoveries are made.
